It's that time of year and we here at Two Hispanics and a White Guy are very excited to attend Orlando's biggest horror convention Spooky Empire. We have been to this convention numerous times and learned a few things about attending. Here is what we recommend you do when visiting.
Parking: This year the convention is being held at the Hyatt Regency Orlando on I-drive and if you're not a guest at the hotel you are looking to pay $16 bucks a day to park. Might we suggest carpooling with friends to be the most cost effective way to attend.
Vendors: Our favorite thing to do during the convention is checking out the vendors. You will find insane horror masks, art and more! Make sure to visit our friends Strangecat Toys who sell vinyl toys, art and more. They will be doing an exclusive release of our talented horror friend Alex Pardees newest figure. First 30 people who buy the toy will also get a free print with their purchase. Not to mention, they will have some Two Hispanics And A White Guy Stickers to give away at the con.
Film Festival: We know Crummy Gummy is a huge horror movie buff and we always felt like this part of the convention gets overlooked. They show some great horror films during the weekend, but if you do not have time for a feature film then check out the short films on Sunday.
Get the Weekend Pass: If you're the type of person that loves to get autographs from the celebrities and want to catch the Q&A's then a weekend pass is a must. You will be able to do all that and more without feeling rushed. If your the type of person who loves to people watch and see some amazing costumes then a one day pass will be just fine.
Hope this helps you out. See you at the con and say hi to us at the Strangecat Toys booth!
